Cause of beam dump (12:03)

- Vacuum pressure of STR-section 4 high 7.0x10-8 torr

- BL-7 front-end vacuum pressure high 5x10-8 torr

- Ion pump power supply S-SIP7, S-SIP8 trip

- Ion pump power supply BL-7 front-end trip

- STR gate value close

Real cause of this situation is back pressure accident from BL-8 (P=1.0E-5 at BL-8 frontend) ; editted by Supan Boonsuya

 Problems

1.      The temperature of cooling water for the storage ring was increased on Wednesday 21 March 2012 at 5.00 pm – Thursday 22 March 2012.

2.      The inlet temperature for the storage ring was increased from 30.5C to 33.2C.

3.      The flow rate of softener water for the cooling tower was decreased, because the disc filter of the softener was clogged.

Solutions

1.      Cleaned the disc filter of the softener on Thursday 22 March 2012 at 9.00 am.

2.      Cleaned the strainer of cooling tower water pump CTW-P1 on Thursday 22 March 2012 at 8.00 pm.

3.      Setting the inlet temperature for the storage ring at 31.0C (old setting 30.5C)

Status

1.       Working finished on Thursday 22 March 2012 at 9.00 pm.
