Introduction The SLRI Beam Test Facility (SLRI BTF) which is a new experimental station of the SLRI accelerator complex was initiated in order to maximize the usage of the SLRI injector. The facility was designed to produce electron test beams with the number of electrons varying from a few to several thousand electrons per burst. The energy of the test beam is tunable from 40 MeV up to 1.2 GeV. The development of SLRI BTF in the first stage focuses on determining the electron beam parameters at the experimental station and testing a concept of the electron reduction system using a metal target. Detected by a pixel sensor detector, the electron beam intensity was measured to be ~108 electrons per burst and attenuated to ~104 electrons per burst when inserting a lead target.
